Generic setup steps
Make sure the device is connected to the internet/WAN.
To set up your Teradek to broadcast SRT you first need to make sure it is capable of SRT and that is has the latest firmware update. Carrying out a firmware update via the Check for updates option also tests the internet connectivity of the device itself.
Go to System settings and expanding Firmware Upgrade then clicking Check for updates.
If it responds with an update available or latest is already installed then you know it has reached an outside conection. If it spins indefinitely then it likely has no outisde WAN connection.
Click Network Interfaces to open the network settings section and check the settings. Even an ethernet showing as connected and green does not mean it has an outside WAN connection - it may only be a LAN connection.
At RePro Project Manager:
To be able to enter what is required you will need to have your Program selected in the Program list in RePro and dropdown the Split Input Details so you can view and copy the individual values required for the Cube 755 setup fields.
On the Cube 755 Settings:
Click Encoder in the left menu and make sure the settings are as required. RePro can ingest H.264 and HEVC. Note: RePro accepts HEVC but some browsers will not play it. Transcode ABR output will convert it to H.264. All other options will pass through the original codec. See our RePro Video Pipeline for more information.
