What is a Reeltime Pro?
Pomfort Reeltime Pro is a professional on-set video assist and playback system designed for multi-camera film and TV production. It captures SDI camera signals in real time, enabling instant playback, review, and basic editing of takes with frame-accurate synchronization. Integrated with Pomfort’s Livegrade and ShotHub ecosystems, Reeltime Pro automatically links recorded clips with camera metadata and color looks, ensuring visual continuity across production and post. It supports HD and 4K video, audio embedding, and clip organization for script supervisors, DITs, and directors. Reeltime Pro essentially combines video assist, recording, and metadata management in a single streamlined on-set solution.
How to output video from Reeltime Pro to your RePro Program?
Create a new program in RePro:
If you don’t already have a program setup in RePro, then you’ll need to create one.
In the Add Program popup:
Choose a Program colour for easy visual identification
Enter a Program name (maximum 25 characters)
Enter a Program short name for easy identification
Configure encryption passphrases for input and output
Enable or disable DVR (if applicable)
Option to enable custom ports (for advanced set up only)
Click Add to create the Program.
The Program will appear in the Program list after a confirmation popup.
Finding Program SRT Input Information
The program you have created is your entrypoint into the RePro platform, so you need to find the SRT input information to send your stream from Reeltime Pro to the right place:
Click Programs in the left menu of your Project manager.
Click on the Program to open the right side-panel.
Under the Program Inputs, you will see the Full Input URL.
Copy the Full Input URL using the copy icon.
Configuring Your Output in Reeltime Pro
You will now need to input the RePro Program’s Full Input URL identified in the previous step into the Output settings in Reeltime Pro.
Open up the slot manager (or use the ⌘D shortcut).
Select an Output in the left column.
Option to rename Output to match RePro Program.
On the right-hand column, click the Device drop down.
Select Internet Stream.
In the Choose Service drop down, select RePro Stream.
In the Input URL field, copy the Full Input URL information from your RePro program.
This will automatically populate the port and password information.
Configure the framerate, format and bitrate which will depend on your video source and internet connection speed (2.5 Mbps is set as standard bitrate).
Click start to begin streaming to RePro.
Confirm you are streaming to RePro
Head back over to your RePro Project. In the Dashboard you should now see a green line connecting your program to your channel. Hover your cursor over the program and it should now display a green Online.
Now head into the Viewer, select the correct channel and your video will be available to all your assigned users.

Troubleshooting
Output stream won’t configure in Reeltime Pro
In the Reeltime Pro Slot Manager:
Check you have selected Output (not Input)
Check you have selected RePro stream from the Internet Stream Service drop down menu.
Check that the Input URL field begins with srt://
Stream is arriving in RePro but not seeing any video
Check you have configured the Input Slot if you are sending live video from Reeltime Pro to the Output Slot.
You may need to enable Shot Follows Selection for all outputs, to send your highlighted screen to the RePro configured output.
Check your Output frame rate and format have been configured correctly to ensure there is no conflict with your live incoming frame rate and format.
The video in RePro stutters or has artifacts
Check the Internet connection where you are sending video from Reeltime Pro. If the upload speed is poor, try lowering the bitrate in the Output Slot.
If the Internet speeds are poor where your users are, you could try adding latency in RePro in the Program settings, or increase the Buffer in Viewer by pressing on the video icon.
