Connecting RePro to other software, hardware and services.

Updated over a week ago

We currently only accept SRT input and output with RePro (RTMP/S RTSP/S and Icecast are currently in beta only).

In this technical section we will run through some of the popular software on the market to show how to set up to broadcast into as well as out of your RePro Stream project successfully.

Finding your Program input/output URLs

You will need to locate your Program input URL from your Project Programs list:

  • Click 'Programs' in the left menu.

  • Click on the Program you wish to get the URL details for.

  • In the right side-panel you will see options for the SRT input and output URLs with a 'Full Input URL'

  • Click the 'Split SRT Input Details' to make it drop down and reveal the broken down elements used in the full URL.

  • Use the Eye icon to view or the Copy icon to copy any of these values.

Click the program row then in the right panel click SRT Input to drodown and reveal Split Input Details

Example Input information: (make sure you get your own individual Program information from your own Program).

Full Input URL: This is the URL in an SRT formatted URL with parameters passed as query arguments on the string. And example is something like... srt://lon1.repro.stream:10095?passphrase=Y2YcS13VxKKYPCUd

Split - Input URL: lon1.repro.stream

Split - Input IP: 81.144.250.131

Split - Input Port: 10095

Split - Input Password: Y2YcS13VxKKYPCU(this is a 16 length key - you can set to 24 or 32)

โš ๏ธ All the above are example parameters - make sure you use what is presented in the manager.

This should give you all the information you need to enter into any SRT hardware encoder software.

Note: Usually RePro input ports start with a 1 e.g. srt://lon1.repro.stream:10095

and output ports start with a 2 e.g. srt://lon1.repro.stream:20095

Make sure you use the right port in the url - make sure you are using the output url for viewing and the input url for broadcasting into RePro.
